Thanks to a very special ‘family member,’ Cheshire Home has been able to purchase one additional HVAC unit. We are just $8,250 away from purchasing our next necessary unit – we are so close! The "dog days" of August are here, and the conditions of our residents require that we keep Cheshire Home consistently cool. Will you be “cool” as you help our thermometer rise to the top?
Air conditioning is essential to get through the hot, and humid days. Cheshire Home must run its ventilation system 24 hours a day, 365 days a year because our residents who have suffered debilitating spinal cord injuries have lost the ability to regulate body temperature, which can lead to serious health complications. Providing residents, a safe, comfortable environment is very important to Cheshire Home.
As we enter another heat wave, we need your help to ‘turn up the air’ in our building. Our residents trust Cheshire Home to provide a cool place and a germ-free environment. The new HVAC systems will provide both accurate temperature control and an air purification system that will eliminate 99% of the germs in the air including COVID.
We have replaced three units so far, thanks to the F.M. Kirby Foundation, The Hyde & Watson Foundation, and a wonderful member of the Cheshire Home Family. Together we can help change lives. You can help keep our residents comfortable on their journey to independence.
Donate today – every dollar counts, and no gift is too small.
Your help to reach our goal is very much appreciated!
